One To World Meet-Up: Cultural Cuisines @ Zööba eats
One To World's Cultural Cuisines are back! Get together and enjoy New York's vibrant restaurant landscape on a student budget! Whether you are a dedicated foodie, especially interested in one national cuisine, or simply looking to spend your evening among other students from all over the world, you are encouraged to join the first dinner of 2021-2022!
This month's restaurant pick is the Egyptian street-food venue Zööba in Nolita. What started as a popular chain in Cairo during the Arab Spring over a decade ago, became anNew York favorite in 2019 – bringing authentic Egyptian cuisine to the city without westernizing it. As featured in Eater NY and The Infatuation, Zööba has fantastic food and a fun dining experience.
Join us at Zööba's Nolita location for a full dinner with family-style appetizers to share and an individual meal to choose from on the menu. In between eating and conversation, the chef will give us a short intro to the origin of the idea behind Zööba and its cultural mission. You will take a culinary trip to Cairo without leaving New York!
