DESCRIPTION:Are you interested in networking with professionals and enhancing your skills in the corporate world? \n  \nJoin us for our third and final discussion and hear from two leaders in the corporate world:\nRipa Rashid is the Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer at Consumer Reports. Ms. Rashid is an internationally recognized subject matter expert and practitioner in the space of workplace diversity and inclusion\, with a focus on gender\, race and global talent engagement and development strategies. She has also served as Managing Director and Head of Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) at Cowen\, a management consultant with Booz & Company\, PwC and Mitchell Madison Group\, and has held senior diversity and inclusion positions at MetLife and Time Warner. \n  \nAdam Quinton is a Board member and Treasurer at Holy Cross Energy based in Glenwood Springs\, CO. Mr. Quinton also serves on the Board of Walking Mountains Science Center based in Avon\, CO where he is a member of the Development and Finance Committees. After 18 years Mr. Quinton recently stepped down from as a Board member at International House in New York where he had Chaired the Development Committee and been a member of the Executive Committee. Previously\, Mr. Quinton taught as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs\, and was a Managing Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. \n  \nAs experts in corporate governance\, Ripa and Adam will speak on the importance of responsible corporate management and best practices in the field. They will share their professional experiences in the business and academic world and facilitate a conversation on this important topic that impacts all of us consumers\, professionals\, and global citizens. There will also be an opportunity for networking with the speakers and other attendees\, as well as refreshments. \n  \nAttending this event is also an opportunity to qualify for a scholarship of up to $750! \nTo apply\, please submit an essay here of no more than 900 words\, answering the question: “What is the number one corporate governance issue in your home country and how would you address it?” There is a first-place prize of $750\, and a second-place prize of $500\, made possible by the Harold S.
