Whether you are a dedicated foodie\, especially interested in one national cuisine\, or simply looking to spend your evening with a group of 27 international students\, you are encouraged to join us for the first dinner of the new semester! \n  \nThe pick for February is Angel Indian Restaurant in Jackson Heights\, Queens. Its chef and owner\, Amrit Pal Singh\, opened the doors in October 2019. He is originally from Pathankot\, a city in the northern Indian state of Punjab. He pursued his formal culinary education in Australia\, before moving to New York to build his business and family. Angel originally opened with only vegetarian dishes\, but has since incorporated meat onto the menu. Inspectors from Michelin have given it critical acclaim\, granting Angel with “Bib Gourmand” status. \n  \nThere will be plenty to talk about while eating at Angel and getting to know their staff\, cuisine and working culture. Additionally\, Jackson Heights is a very interesting neighborhood of Queens to explore\, known for its multicultural shops and restaurants. Join us for dinner with your choice of drink\, shared appetizers and your choice of a main course.
