In celebration of Earth Day, volunteer with One To World and New York City Parks! Join other international students and local New Yorkers at Fort Tryon Park. You'll have the opportunity to roll up your sleeves and revitalize the park to help prepare for summertime.
Fort Tryon Park opened in 1935 and remains one of the city's most beautiful parks. It is also home to the Cloisters, a branch of the Metropolitan Museum of Art that houses nearly 5,000 medieval works in a building comprised of several structures from Europe. We will join the NYC Parks committee in activities including removing debris and invasive plant species, weeding, mulching and planting. Tools and gloves will be provided. Please wear sturdy shoes, your face mask, and bring a filled bottle of water.
This is a great opportunity to spend some time outdoors while doing your part to make the planet a better place!
