Discover the complex history of one of New York's most famous neighborhoods,
Greenwich Village! Tim White, history professor and former professional tour guide will recount the dramatic & fascinating story of the neighborhood surrounding Washington Square Park. Tim will discuss famous Villagers, gentrification, the impact of NYU's campus, and other historic preservation battles. There will be plenty of time for Q&A after the presentation.
