BACK TO THE 90's!
Whether you associate this decade with childhood memories, your teenage years or you discovered it on the television or in movies,
the 90’s was known for fun trends and entertaining activities from all around the world that anyone can enjoy!
The 90’s mean something different for everyone, varying from country to country or continent to continent. For instance, all kinds of similarities and differences were discovered amongst the One To World staff when asked what the 90’s mean to them: Toe, a volunteer from Japan associates the decade with visiting little snack shop as a child, called Dagasiyasan. She and Patricia, the Enrichment Programs Global Fellow from Germany, were excited to find out that they both owned a Tamagotchi toy that they tried to keep alive during their childhood. Jaime, Communications and Development Coordinator from New York, remembers eating the delicious after-school snack Dunkeroos. We are excited to hear how the 90's have been in your country!
Join us at the One To World office for a 90’s Theme and Game Night! This is a perfect opportunity to meet other international students in a small group, while showing off your competitive side over 90’s games! We'll be reminiscing about past music and trends over snacks and refreshments that were popular during this decade.
