Community Service: Paint a Community Mural

Event Details

Date: 09/13/19 Cost: $15 Time: 10:00 AM Location: Harlem, NY

One To World is once again proud to be partnering with CITYarts, a non-profit organization that engages youth and professional artists in the creation of public art to empower and educate them to become active participants in realizing their potential and transforming communities.
We will paint alongside CITYarts staff, community volunteers, and local youth on the CITYarts mural Young Minds Build Bridges in Harlem. We will help to restore and clean this mosaic peace wall, originally created in 2005, allowing a new generation of youth to participate in a project that spans internationally. This is one of five CITYarts Mosaic Peace Walls in the world and the only one in the United States. You don't have to be an artist or a painter to participate - no prior experience is necessary.

Date: Friday, September 13th

Time: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
