Do you want to get an inside look at the NYC mayor's house? Join us for a visit to Gracie Mansion! Known as the "People's House," it has been the official residence of most New York City mayors since 1942 - including current mayor, Mr. William "Bill" de Blasio.
This tour of Gracie Mansion will offer a deeper understanding of New York's history, especially during the early years of the U.S., and focus on notable events that involved mayors who have lived in the house. The tour will be led by Mr. Paul Gunther, Executive Director of the Gracie Mansion Conservancy.
We will also have the chance to explore the She Persists exhibit that focuses on the century between 1918 and 2018, examining artworks related to women’s suffrage and subsequent advances of feminism.
