Community Service: Paint a Community Mural

Event Details

Date: 09/07/18 Cost: $15 Time: 10:00 AM Location: Harlem, NY

One To World is proud to be partnering with CITYarts, a non-profit organization that engages youth and professional artists in the creation of public art to empower and educate them to become active participants in realizing their potential and transforming communities.
We will paint alongside CITYarts staff, community volunteers, and local youth on the CITYarts mural Following in the Footsteps of Alexander in Harlem. This mural celebrates the neighborhood's history with a focus on Alexander Hamilton who lived in the community before becoming the first U.S. Secretary of Treasury! Roll up your sleeves and join our international group to leave your mark on this historic Manhattan neighborhood! You don't have to be an artist or a painter to participate - no prior experience is necessary.
