One To World Walk: Inside the NYC Mayor’s Home

Event Details

Date: 01/23/18 Cost: $16 Time: 10:00 AM Location: Manhattan

Do you want to get an inside look at the NYC mayor's house? Join us for a visit to Gracie Mansion! Known as the "People's House," it has been the official residence of most New York City mayors since 1942 - including current mayor, Mr. William "Bill" de Blasio.

This tour of Gracie Mansion will offer a deeper understanding of New York's history, especially during the early years of the U.S., and focus on notable events that involved mayors who have lived in the house. The tour will be led by Mr. Paul Gunther, Executive Director of the Gracie Mansion Conservancy. You will also have the chance to meet with Ms. Leslie Slocum, Director of Protocol from the NYC Mayor’s Office for International Affairs, and find out more about the city’s commitment to international affairs and foreign students, particularly during such an uncertain legislative period.
